Happy Thanksgiving!

I wish my turkey drawing skills were this awesome, but this is a water decal.  Years ago I used decals all the time.  I have a stash I should pull out and use more often.  I picked up these Thanksgiving themed decals at one of my locally owned beauty supply stores.  The pack was $1.99.  When I got home I saw the price tag was covering another price tag.  I pulled it off and saw a tag for $7.99.  Wow; that had been hanging on their rack for a few years I guess.  I was happy to take it off their hands for a fraction of the price.  For the striped gradient I used Jordana Chiffon, Sinful Colors Nirvana and Finger Paints Sketchy Character.  The glitter is Color Club Art Club silver holographic glitter.

Doesn’t this look like a mani a super hero would have?  I used my Scotch tape and craft scissors and put Sinful Colors This Is It over O.P.I.’s Yodel Me On My Cell.  That’s a lot of sparkle.

Sinful Colors This Is It:  The first thing I thought about when I looked at the name of this color, This Is It, was Michael Jackson and the tour he never got to take.  I love Michael Jackson.  I thought it was appropriate to wear this color today being that the trial over his death ended yesterday and in my opinion justice was served.  Anyway, back to the polish.  I layered this over Sally Hansen Black Out and it is beaUtiful!  Look at that sparkle!  The top photo is in direct sunlight, the bottom is in the shade without a flash.  I used 2 coats and am completely happy with it.

Sinful Colors Unicorn:  When I bought this color I was looking for a really soft, buttery yellow.  I feel like it’s too bright and not something I would wear.  Not buttery enough I guess.  I was disappointed with the coverage.  This is 3 coats and honestly could probably use one more.  Come on, 4 coats to have full opacity?

Sinful Colors Savage:  Is there some marking on the bottle that I’m missing that tells me when a polish is matte?  Again, I didn’t know this was matte, but really like it.  Two coats was plenty to get good coverage, but again I did 3 for good measure.  I think I need to get a matte top coat so I can protect these matte polishes.  I really quite like them.
