Twinsie Tuesday: Valentine’s Day Nails

11 Feb

Twinsie TuesdayI feel like I got a little carried away with these Valentine’s Day nails. I should’ve stopped at the pinkie and ring fingers. I like all of the aspects of this mani, just maybe not all together? I don’t know. Whatever.

Valentine's Day Nails
For this design I used OPI My Vampire is Buff, OPI Pink Friday, Sinful Colors Nirvana, OPI DS Reserve and Radiance, Sally Hansen Black Out and a few acrylics.

A couple hours later…

Valentine's Day Nails
Ahhh… That’s much better. I just couldn’t stand the crazy business that was happening. I like this so much better! It feels retro to me. Do you agree that the retake is better?

Be sure the check out all the other manis today:

Hahaha! I prefer the second look as well. Great nail art!

Those dotted nails are so cute! I like the retro feel this has, but I LOVE your middle finger in the fist take! :)

Thanks! I’ve been wanting to play with red and brown together. I think it will require some more experimentation.

Girl….this is GORGEOUS!! I love it both ways! Although the first one is busier, each design pulled together very nicely. Your changed look is also super cute and works perfectly together!

Thank you! I was a bit worried about the cohesion with take one.

Amazing as always! :) I love the ikat nail!

LOL this happens to me all the time! I don’t love my original look and only bits and pieces of it remain! I actually love both versions you did here!

I love both looks! What I’m really loving is that heart on the middle finger! It looks like a sticker, it’s perfect!

I also prefer the second look, though the first was a fun combo. I’m in love with the way you did your heart!

I agree…I prefer the second one. Sometimes simplicity is best. I’d love to see you revisit the other two fingers though, because they’re super cute!

Beautiful design!! The heart is wonderful!!

I also prefer the second look. The ikat nail looks great but better on it’s own or as an accent.

This definitely has a retro feel to it! Both takes are gorgeous but I think your middle finger in the first mani is my very favorite!
