Tissue Box Stripes

BUSY WEEKEND! I don’t know if anyone noticed my lack of post on Saturday, but I just plain old didn’t have time! It was a fun weekend, but I’m glad it’s over.
The box of tissues that’s currently in my bathroom looks like this mani. Each time I pulled a tissue out of it, I would think, “I love these stripes!” So, why not paint them on my nails? It just so happened that I had all the right colors to pull it off too.
No crazy techniques here; just a striping brush. I started with a white base of Sally Hansen White On. I intentionally left white spaces because the box has white stripes mingled in with all the other colors.
My pink is LASplash Blowfish Purple, the orange is Jordana Orangesicle, the light blue is China Glaze For Audrey and the dark is Cult Nails Time Traveler. The tan is Jordana Chiffon. I topped things off with a quick coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast (which caused a tiny bit of smearage) then finished it all off with Jordana Quick Shine top coat. I actually wore this all weekend. I really like it. It’s very warm and summery.
