Leopard Over OPI It’s My Year

It’s My Year was just too pretty not to play with. Do you see that bright, gold shine it’s got where the light hits it? Gorgeous! Like my mish mash mani from yesterday, I felt like this color was screaming out for some black to go with it. 
I decided to only do my ring and middle finger and thumb as accents. Although, being that those three are in the majority, would my pinkie and index finger be considered the accents? Hmm… thought provoking. Anyway, I was in a hurry and wanted the simplest leopard I could possibly do.
Normally I would use a third color and dot it around my nail them build the leopard on top of those dots. Again, I was going for quick and simple and didn’t want to cover up too much of the It’s My Year. Hence, no third color and no center for my spots. At first I was worried it didn’t interpret as leopard because my spots are empty. Hubby could tell it was leopard, so I knew it was a success.
I’m really happy with it and am loving the accent nail layout of this mani.
